Coreline Fibre’s Health & Safety
We follow the SHEQ, (safety, health, environment and quality) on-site and during construction, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and quality control. Our policy is in line with the SHEQ management system which we have implemented and continuously maintained and integrated to eliminate duplication of processes and procedures.
We have qualified employees who have a NEBOSH qualification which provides them with a good foundation in health and safety systems and principles to help with their day-to-day responsibilities. This qualification also provides our employees with professional competence to manage risk, meet business objectives, and adhere to current regulations.
Here at Coreline Fibre, we adhere to international health and safety requirements. Our company and its team comply with the rules and regulations set out in any country so that our partners are safe, our employees have a safe and healthy place to work and the service we provide is done according to the highest standard and the required regulations all over the world.
Coreline Fibre implements the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993 which is the primary piece of legislation covering occupational health and safety in South Africa. Our goal in enforcing health and safety standards is to define the broad duties that employers have to employees and members of the public, the duties that employees have to themselves and to each other, and the duties that certain self-employed people have to themselves and others.
Coreline Fibre relies on health and safety regulations to help us appoint a competent person, create a health and safety policy, conduct a risk assessment, consult with workers, provide information and training, have the right workplace facilities, have first aid in the workplace, display the law on a poster, have business insurance, follow the law, and report accidents and illnesses. We consider it essential for our health and safety to be up to code and to constantly follow it. We apply health and safety regulations where our business takes place since it is beneficial to us as a company and to our employees to be safe and healthy where they work.
